2D drawing
2D drawings in a wide range of programs are one of the main focuses of our work and we are happy to make our skills available to you.
We have the most experience in Auto CAD Mechanical, including exporting to all the necessary formats, including liaising with production to ensure smooth process.
3D drawings
Conversion of 2D drawings and plans into 3D model form, including the possibility of visualizations.
Most often we use Solidworks 3D, but we also have experience in Rhinoceros 3D and Autodesk Inventor. Our employees have many years of experience in these programs, including preparation for production. We have completed projects on a huge scale that required working with thousands of individual facade parts, and we will certainly be able to help you as well.

Visualization &
animation

3D print
We started to deal with 3D printing technology almost immediately after it came on the market and thanks to the possibility of rapid production of models and prototypes it has significantly improved our work.
3D printing offers a quick and relatively inexpensive way to verify design elements, test or even just inspect parts that would be impossible or extremely expensive to produce otherwise. We usually print prototypes and models on the Průša 3D Mk2 printer, and we can also print titanium or carbon reinforced parts using the Mark 3D Markforget printer. Outputs from this printer can also be used as direct parts for smaller structures.

Virtual reality
As with 3D printing, virtual reality was a technology we became interested in immediately when it started to become more widespread in the market.
Today, we're able to use it mainly in visualizations and animations, where using the Oculus Gear VR headset can deliver an even more realistic experience. So you can see the space being created before construction begins.
This technology, which is still not widely used today, will certainly be required by clients in the future as often as traditional static visualisations are today.
3D scan
We are currently working with a professional EinScan Pro+ scanner for scanning small objects and a large Faro Focus M 70, which is capable of large scale building scans.
The small scanner is ideal to use if you have a physical object from which there is no engineering drawing and you need to replace or improve the part. The large scanner can then be used to measure with extreme accuracy, for example, an existing building before an extension is started, or to create a perfect copy of an existing building.

Ride Engineering Switzerland
For more than five years we have been cooperating with the leading developer of attractions for the entertainment industry, the Swiss company RES. The projects we work on together present new engineering challenges for us and we apply the experience gained in other areas of our business.
We work on amusement rides of all kinds, from traditional roller coasters and towers to water rides for relaxation and adrenaline. Cooperation with RES professionals is a small but integral part of our company's work and will certainly continue to be so.
Designed for function
Zeroone Engineering Studio is an in-house graphics studio. Its main task is to manage the Zeroone Engineering Group's corporate identity and other graphic work for its subsidiaries and partners.
In addition, we have several heart projects outside of our core business. These are mainly the magazine "15", for which we have prepared the overall concept and which is still in the preparation phase, and our company newsletter ZER01, which details our already completed projects.
In the graphic studio we follow the same approach as in the design of facades - emphasis on quality and maximum attention to detail. The studio also allows us a greater degree of creative freedom and gives the company opportunities to develop in new areas.

The design of Olympic House is based on five core values/objectives: movement, transparency, flexibility, sustainability and collaboration. With its dynamic and undulating façade, the building looks different from every angle and gives the impression of an athlete in motion. Its interior contains a minimum of restrictive structures. This open and flexible working environment adapts to different ways of working today and in the future.
Olympic House has received three of the highest-rated certifications for sustainable buildings – LEED v4 Platinum with the highest rating ever awarded, SNBS Platinum and Minergie P, making it the most sustainable building in the world.
The International Olympic Commission’s new headquarters building houses 500 employees who previously worked in various offices across the city.

APPLE DUBAI MALL

Apple Dubai Mall transforms the traditional concept of enclosed shops inside a mall into a much more outward-looking experience that engages with city life. The design is highly innovative and responsive to the cultural and climatic conditions of the UAE. It also demonstrates Apple’s ambition to create inspiring public spaces.
Apple Dubai Mall’s design is a celebration of the sun and uses a generous supply of daylight to create a unique ambience for the space. Innovative ‘Solar Wings’ reinterpreting the traditional Arabic Mashrabiya shading, protect the terrace from direct sun during the day. At night, they then open majestically to reveal an unsurpassed view of the promenade and fountain. Inspired by the wings of a flying falcon, the movement of the solar wings is an experience in itself – a fusion of kinetic art and technology.
Each wing is made of carbon fiber and made up of many layers forming a dense net. These have been placed more densely where the sun’s rays are most intense during the year, after careful study of the angles of the sun’s rays. The unique pattern allows people to see from both floors of the store, and sunlight streaming through the sashes casts shadows deep into the interior.

THE BROAD MUSEUM

The Broad is a new contemporary art museum built by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. The museum is home to nearly 2,000 works of art belonging to The Broad Art Foundation from the Broad’s private collection, which ranks among the world’s foremost collectors of postwar and contemporary art. The innovative $140million building offers two floors of gallery space on 12,000 square feet. In addition to the Broad’s extensive collection, the building also houses The Broad Art Foundation’s extensive library. In addition, a 2,400-square-foot park next to the museum is an important island of greenery on Grand Avenue.

THE SMILE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES

On the border between Harlem’s bustling 125th Street and the quieter 126th Street is The Smile building. It is a mixed-use building that houses a nursery at street level and residential space above. A third of these units are designated for affordable housing which should provide and strengthen the diversity of the neighborhood. The unique T-shaped floor plan will offer a wide variety of apartment layouts and sizes while tying in well with the neighboring development. The south elevated portion of the building visually floats above the existing commercial building on 125th Street, creating a dynamic element in an ever-expanding urban environment.
2013
WILDSPITZBAHN

Unique views were the starting point of our architectural vocabulary. The design we have chosen is based on natural conditions and questions of technical feasibility. Minimal contact surfaces with the ground, glacial outwash, steep slopes, extreme altitude and the associated exposure to sunlight, wind and thin air all limited the design options. The base is a steel and aluminium structure placed on an existing foundation, which meets the requirements for appearance but also weather resistance. This allows the building to blend in with its surroundings and form a whole in a unique snow architecture. The idea was to create a building with a low profile wherever possible to better withstand the local conditions.
2020
HAUS BALMA
VALS, SWITZERLAND

The shape of the building resulted from the triangular plot of land available on the company’s premises. From the triangular geometry, the architects developed a pointedly cut volume structured by canopies running horizontally around it. The result is a mixture that on the one hand recalls the architecture of Japanese pagodas, but also refers to the Vals tradition of stone shingle roofs: There, the panels are fitted together with a hammer and joined without screws or nails.
Kuma writes: “From a distance, the village with its shingle roofs looks as if stones are floating above the valley. We wanted to pick up on this image in a special architectural detail.” From this, Truffer worked with the architects to develop a very special curtain wall made of “floating stones”: a light- and sight-permeable structure formed by strong stainless-steel cables to which wooden or stone panels up to two-and-a-half meters long were alternately attached. This is reminiscent of a venetian blind, but a very heavy one: In total, the facades consist of 882 stone and 501 wooden panels. The stone panels alone add up to a total weight of 24 tons, and each cable had to be pre-tensioned with 500 kilograms.
The most spectacular element inside is the single-flight staircase that crosses the house diagonally and cuts a high, narrow space into the volume “like a ravine,” says Pia Truffer, representing the company. Here, they sought to design the walls with raw, unfinished rock pieces. In the end, the company specifically developed a new splitting method for the stone blocks in the quarry. The architect then specified exactly where each of the approximately 1,000 slabs of nine different heights should be set into the staircase walls. Two craftsmen were busy setting the slabs for over a year.

Ö-BOGEN II OFFICE BUILDING

8 kilometres of hornbeam hedges, over 30,000 plants – Europe’s largest green facade is complete. The facade is an essential element of the Kö-Bogen II commercial and office building by ingenhoven architects.
The ensemble marks the conclusion of an extensive urban renewal project in the heart of Düsseldorf. It also represents a paradigm shift: from an urban perspective, it signals a departure from the automotive era and a turn towards people-oriented planning. And with Europe’s largest green facade, it offers an urban response to climate change.
Giving back as much green as possible to the city is a task that ingenhoven architects have been working on for decades and across different climate zones. With its supergreen® concept, the office is taking a comprehensive approach to sustainability.
2017
KING ABDULAZIZ CENTRE
DHAHRAN, SAUDI ARABIA
Snøhetta
The King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture is a bold move by Saudi Aramco Oil Company to support the cultural development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In an architectural competition in 2007, Snøhetta was selected to design this important cultural institution.
The cultural centre is located in Dhahrann in the Eastern Province and provides a wide range of activities for local residents. It also has ambitions to become a cultural landmark with regional, national and global reach. The project includes a range of cultural facilities – an auditorium, cinema, library, exhibition hall, museum and archive.
The auditorium, which can seat up to 930 visitors, provides space for a wide range of events from opera and symphony concerts to musicals and speeches. Together with the smaller cinema, this makes it a unique venue for artistic events. The library, with over 200,000 free books, becomes a centre of knowledge for visitors of all ages.
The main exhibition hall also accommodates large travelling exhibitions and provides facilities for social events, receptions and conferences. The museum and archives then connect today’s rich cultural life with the past and the roots of the society.
2019
SKAIO WOODEN TOWER

In the context of the Neckarbogen city part, the buildings “SKAIO” and “FAMJU” are part of the mixed building block J. Mixed in terms of architecture and intended target groups.
The building “SKAIO” is designed as a hybrid construction. The material wood makes up the major part of the construction, the staircase and the base floor are made of reinforced concrete. This makes SKAIO Germany’s first high-rise building in timber construction with a height of 34m.
In addition to commercial space, SKAIO contains 60 residential units that are offered for rent. Around half of the apartments are publicly subsidized. In addition, there are four shared apartments for people in need.
The first floor provides space for everyday living needs. In addition, a large kitchen and a laundry room are offered for common use and meeting place.
The 1 to 2 room apartments (40-70m²), which are small in standard, are accessed via the interior staircase and can be interconnected as needed. On the roof there is a communal terrace for all residents.

THE METROPOLITANS
ZÜRICH, SWITZERLAND

The remit for the exterior here was to create a harmonious ensemble that simultaneously stood on its own architectural merits and provided a meaningful addition to the surrounding built environment. The interior was to provide an upmarket residential space comprising apartments with a variety of different layouts that offered both wide-open vistas and intimacy. The name, casual yet cosmopolitan, it all: The Metropolitans. More than just architectural accents, these elegant residential towers make a statement, forging a new identity for Zürich’s aspiring Leutschenbach district. The two 60m-high towers are characterized by a bright, projecting facade in limestone concrete that underscores their clean, straight lines and gives then a timeless, exclusive feel.
In terms of their overall effect, in an architecturally disparate environment where individual buildings stand mutely side-by-side, these two interacting tower blocks combine to form a shared outdoor space that also provides access to the building. The immediate residential setting is designed to blend into the existing exterior space, creating a coherent, exclusive urban world. The generous, open architectural approach has produced a stylish residential development in which the two buildings are encased in a framework of balconies that gives the apartments a high degree of intimacy, while the open space in front of the buildings bridges the distance to the inner facade, the building’s insulating shell. The apartments measure between 75 and 200m2 and are set over nineteen storeys.
Inside, openness is again the order of the day. The windows extend from floor to ceiling and glazed balustrades offer unhindered views across the city to the distant Alps, creating wide-open vistas to the exterior and generous spatial proportions and freedom inside. The lack of load-bearing walls inside the flats gives considerable flexibility in layout planning, allowing the space to be tailored to individual requirements. All of The Metropolitans’ 212 apartments have high ceilings, while its “attic” apartments feature duplex areas. Spacious and finished in high-quality materials, prestigious entrances and landings emphasise the urban feel and photo art by Alfonso Zubiaga in the lift lobbies reflects the metropolitan theme. The highlight comes at the very top: roof terraces on both towers house “sky lounges” with panoramic views open to all occupants.

VÄVEN CULTURAL CENTRE

Snøhetta, White Arkitekter
The Väven Cultural Centre in Umeå in northern Sweden has won the Kesper Salin Award, Sweden’s most important architecture prize. The award was presented on 28 November 2014, a week after the official opening, a victory for the city which was named European City of Culture 2014.
The cultural centre was designed by Snøhetta and White, one of Scandinavia’s most prominent architectural practices, in close collaboration with the municipality’s public authorities, private developer Balticgruppen AB and the residents of Umeå. The result is a 25,000m2 building connecting the city centre with the newly regenerated waterfront area.
Väven (meaning “Wave” in Swedish) combines a number of cultural functions – a city library, museum, conference centre, theatre and a new hotel. The centre demonstrates the city’s ambition to bring together a range of disciplines into a cluster of flexible spaces that can change according to the needs of the citizens and where public amenities can be supported by commercial investment under one roof.

Magazine design
Mockup design for the upcoming magazine. The theme will be unique people and stories told from a personal point of view – about people who do more and are not afraid to go further. The clean and simple design will be complemented by high quality photography and each magazine will feature only a few extensive articles related to one theme.
The design includes a logo in the form of a stylized number “15”, the magazine layout and the website. Everything is in a minimalist design, with a monochromatic color scheme accented only exceptionally, by a bold green color.

Corporate identity - Merchandising
Managing our own corporate identity is one of the main tasks of our in-house graphics department. In recent years, the entire company has undergone a gradual rebranding – we have updated our logo and introduced a uniform style for all catalogues and external printed materials, which we will maintain in the coming years.
Company T-shirts and other merchandising are very popular with all employees, so we prepare a collection of clothing, T-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. twice a year. Their appearance always reflects the technical focus of our company and their colour scheme remains monochromatic.

RED LINE INDUSTRIES
Visual identity
Red line industries is an assembly and construction company associated with Zeroone Engineering, for which we designed the visual style in 2019. The logo consists of a simple typography of the words “red” and “line” connected by a red line – expressing the company name in another form.
Additional elements of the visual style are diagonal grey lines of different widths and styles. These refer to the technical and construction drawings and thus to the focus of the entire company.
